PANDEMIC PORTRAITS is a collection of paintings produced by artist Roger Ridley. The project investigates the relationship between news media, visual culture and the digital age against the backdrop of the global spread of Coronavirus. The faces of humanity are joined by New York Times articles to create a stimulating and absorbing perspective on of the most significant events in American history.

The result is art that is both evocative and thought-provoking in its raw representation, yet carefully crafted in its composition and execution.
